Track & Field Splits for Tyson Invite, Husky Classic

The UCLA track & field team will compete in a pair of meets this week, with the bulk of the squad heading to Fayetteville, Ark. for the 2026 Tyson Invitational while a group of middle-distance and distance runners will return to Seattle, Wash. for the 2026 Husky Classic.

Both meets are schedule to run on Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14.

The Tyson Invite, hosted by Arkansas, will feature 50 teams from around the country at the Randal Tyson Track Center. Besides the Bruins and host Razorbacks, some of the other schools slated to appear include Arizona, Florida, Kansas, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Stanford, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

The Husky Classic meanwhile will be held at the Dempsey Indoor Track and will features athletes from schools such as Boston College, Cal Poly, Nebraska, Portland State, New Mexico, Oregon State, Penn State, Stanford, and Utah. It marks the Bruins' second trip to UW and third trip to the state of Washington so far during this indoor season.
