The NFL's 2023 regular season wrapped up with a full slate of games in Week 18. A total of 23 former UCLA standouts were in action over the weekend.
The playoffs begin on Saturday with Wild Card Weekend. Nine Bruins were listed on active rosters of playoff-bound teams during Week 18: OT Alec Anderson (Buffalo Bills), C Jake Brendel (San Francisco 49ers), DE Kenny Clark (Green Bay Packers), DT Matt Dickerson (Kansas City Chiefs), K Ka'imi Fairbairn (Houston Texans), LB Myles Jack (Pittsburgh Steelers), DB Quentin Lake (Los Angeles Rams), DT Osa Odighizuwa (Dallas Cowboys), and OL Sean Rhyan (Green Bay Packers)
Listed on practice squads and injured/reserved lists of postseason-bound teams during week 18 included: DT Eli Ankou (Buffalo Bills), S Nate Meadors (Pittsburgh Steelers), C Scott Quessenberry (Houston Texans), and QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson (Cleveland Browns)
• Krys Barnes, LB, Arizona Cardinals – Started and recorded six tackles, second-most on the team. He also added a pass break-up. Barnes finished his debut season in Arizona with 55 total tackles and one interception.
• Jake Bobo, WR, Seattle Seahawks – Caught one pass for 10 yards. Bobo finished his rookie NFL campaign with 19 catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns.
• Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks – Rushed five times for 32 yards, including a long of 14 yards, and added two pass receptions for 28 yards. The rookie closed the regular season with 462 rushing yards and one touchdown on 108 carries, while reeling in 33 passes for 209 receiving yards.
• Clark, DL, Green Bay Packers – Started and made two tackles, including an eight-yard sack. Added one quarterback hurry. For the 2023 regular season, Clark made 44 total tackles, recorded a career-high 7.5 sacks, and forced two fumbles.
• Dickerson, DT, Kansas City Chiefs – Contributed two tackles, including a one-yard TFL, in Kansas City's 13-12 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
• Fairbairn, K, Houston Texans – Converted on his one field goal attempt, from 51 yards out, as Houston eked out a 23-19 win over Indianapolis. For the 2023 regular season, Fairbairn went 27-for-28 on field goal attempts.
• Jack, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers – Contributed three tackles in a 17-10 win over Baltimore.
• Joshua Kelley, RB, Los Angeles Chargers – Had two carries for one yard. Finished the season with 405 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 107 carries.
• Eric Kendricks, LB, Los Angeles Chargers – Started and made seven tackles, one off the team lead. The ninth-year pro finished his debut season in Los Angeles with 117 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.
• Lake, DB, Los Angeles Rams – Recorded three tackles in the Rams' 21-20 win over San Francisco. The second-year pro finished the regular season with 53 tackles and a fumble recovery over 14 games.
• Fabian Moreau, CB, Denver Broncos – Started and made six tackles against the Raiders.
• Odighizuwa, DT, Dallas Cowboys – Started and had one quarterback hurry in Dallas' 38-10 win at Washington. The third-year pro finished the regular season with a career-high 46 tackles and three sacks.
• Otito Ogbonnia, DL, Los Angeles Chargers – Started and recorded a season-high four tackles. The finished the year with a career-high 21 tackles over eight games played.
• Kyle Philips, WR, Tennessee Titans – Recorded two catches for 15 yards. Philips finished the season with 15 receptions for 181 yards.
• Matthew Slater, WR, New England Patriots – Made one tackle on special teams.
• C Jake Brendel (San Francisco 49ers), LB Anthony Barr (Minnesota Vikings), CB Darnay Holmes (New York Giants), C Andre James (Las Vegas Raiders), TE Marcedes Lewis (Chicago Bears), OL Atonio Mafi (New England Patriots), OL Kolton Miller (Las Vegas Raiders), and G Sean Rhyan (Green Bay Packers) also played, but did not record any statistics.
