Campos Named Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Week for Third Time

LOS ANGELES – Junior Zoe Antoinette Campos on the No. 4 UCLA women's golf team was named Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Week for a third time this season, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
 
Campos earned co-champion honors at the PING/ASU Invitational last Saturday with a score of 9-under (69-70-68), marking her third medal of the season. Campos saved her best round for last with a bogey-free 4-under 68 on Saturday. The Valencia, Calif. native recorded only two bogeys over the 54 holes, both of which came in the first round.
 
Campos' performance helped the Bruins finish in a three-way tie for second place (-8).
 
After this week's tournament, Campos has now recorded 16 rounds under par which are tied for seventh most in a single season by a Bruins' golfer. The UCLA single-season record for rounds under par is 20 set by Lilia Vu, Bronte Law and Alison Lee.
 
Campos makes her third appearance at the Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA) in Augusta, Ga. this week. The UCLA junior tees off in the first round tomorrow morning at 6:21 a.m. (PT)/9:21 (ET). Fans can watch the first two rounds on April 3 and 4 live on Golf Channel from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (PT).
