EUGENE, Ore. - UCLA men's track and field closed out its season at the 2024 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday night with seven Second Team All-Americans. 

On the third day of competition at Hayward Field, Michael Pinckney (58.98m, 193-6) and Aidan Elbettar (57.67m, 189-2) earned Second Team All-America honors in the discus event. Pinckney's mark was good for ninth in the nation, while Elbettar finished 13th on the men's final day of competition at outdoor nationals.

The second and final day of the women's competition will occur on Saturday, June 8. Lyvante Su'emai will conclude the outdoor season for the Bruin women in the discus throw.
