Three current Bruins and one UCLA alumna will participate in the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia Aug. 31-Sept. 22. Current team members America Frias, Mariangela Medina and Val Vargas are representing Team Mexico, and alumna Ally Lemos is playing for Team USA.
Mexico kicks off the tournament on Saturday, Aug. 31 with a 1pm PT game against Cameroon. The match will be televised on Telemundo and Universo. Mexico's other Group A matches will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 3 against Australia at 3pm PT (TV: FS2 and Telemundo) and Friday, Sept. 6 against Colombia at 3pm PT (TV: FS2, Telemundo and Universo).
