Betts Named to Lisa Leslie Award Top 10 List

SPRINGFIELD, MASS. – Sophomore Lauren Betts has been named to the Top 10 candidates for the 2024 Lisa Leslie Award, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced Friday.
Betts is shooting a conference- and NCAA-leading .683 FG% through 17 games (1st, Pac-12; 1st, NCAA). The center has corralled 147 rebounds in her 17 appearances with the Bruins, averaging 8.6 rebounds per game this season (24.3 MPG). The center ranks 6th in the Conference in RPG and has recorded eight double-doubles on the year.
