Seventeen Bruins Named to Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll

The Pac-12 champion UCLA women's soccer team placed 17 team members on the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll for Fall 2023.
Senior Jen Alvarado (political science) earned her fourth career academic award, while classmates Megan Edelman (cognitive science), Kelly McManus (psychology), Michaela Rosenbaum (sociology) and Reilyn Turner (sociology) each picked up their third career awards. Graduate student Ally Cook (project management) earned her third career award and first at UCLA after receiving honors in 2020 and 2021 at Oregon. Two-time honorees are Sofia Cook (international development studies), Maya Evans (sociology), Sunshine Fontes (education), Jordyn Gather (sociology), Ally Lemos (communication), Quincy McMahon (cognitive science), Jayden Perry (sociology), Lilly Reale (sociology) and My Haugland Sørsdahl (sociology). Sophomores Peyton Marcisz (pre-business economics) and Neeku Purcell (undeclared) received their first honor roll distinction in their first year of eligibility.
Any student-athlete on their respective team roster with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3-or-above, and who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, is eligible for the distinction.
UCLA has had seven or more women's soccer players earn Pac-12 academic honors every year since 2012, including a program-record 18 in 2022.
