Cross Country Wraps Regular Season at Dellinger Invite

The UCLA cross country team is headed to Eugene, Ore. this weekend for the 2024 Bill Dellinger Invitational on Friday, Oct. 11. The race marks the Bruins' final competition of the regular season.
The University of Oregon-hosted meet will begin at 11:15 a.m. PT with the men's 8000m race. After the men's side concludes, the women's 6000m race will start at 12 p.m. PT.
Course Description
The Pine Ridge Golf Club, one of Oregon's premier golf courses, will be the site of the Bill Dellinger Invitational. Athletes will race entirely on grass and mostly on fairways. The course consists of two relatively flat loopsโan outer loop and a finish loop. The outer loop is approximately 2,320 meters in length and the finishing loop is approximately 1,350 meters in length.
Last Time Out: Gans Creek Classic (Sept. 27)
The UCLA cross country team returned to action on last month at the Gans Creek Classic hosted by Missouri, with the women claiming an 18th-place team finish.
Redshirt sophomore Audrey Allen, competing in her first cross country race since the 2021 season, was the Bruins' top finisher in the women's 6k race, coming in at 62nd place with a time of 21:15.0. Kaho Cichon (21:39.4) and Annika Salz (21:47.0) also both broke the 22-minute mark. A total of 38 schools registered team scores on the women's side.
The UCLA men were paced in the 8k race by Jack Rosencrans, who posted a time of 24:35.0. The men's squad ultimately didn't record a team score.ย
