LOS ANGELES – The UCLA softball program has received four Grants in Aid (GIA) from Brianah Alejandre, Natalie Cable, Jolyna Lamar and Jazmine Leyva, as announced by The Shelly Carlin UCLA Head Softball Coach Kelly Inouye-Perez.

Inouye-Perez's 2025 signing class was ranked sixth in the nation and first in the Big Ten, according to Softball America. Both Lamar (10th) and Alejandre (13th) were ranked in the top 15 of Softball America's national individual rankings while Cable was 57th and fourth in her home state of Florida.

"I expect this 2025 signing class to have an immediate impact and continue our tradition of excellence," Inouye-Perez said. "Every year, we graduate great Bruins and are tasked with reloading with a talented freshman class. My associate head coach Lisa Fernandez and recruiting coordinator Will Oldham have done an excellent job in bringing in the next generation of elite Bruins. We signed two of the top recruits in the country, Brianah Alejandre and Jolyna Lamar. Our fans are going to love watching these four signees compete for us in 2026."
