Men's Volleyball Announces 2025 Schedule

Head Coach John Hawks announced the 2025 UCLA men's volleyball schedule on Monday. The two-time defending national champion Bruins open the season with a home match against Fairleigh Dickinson on January 9 in Pauley Pavilion, presented by Wescom.
Prior to the season-opener against FDU, the Bruins will host Trinity Western University in an exhibition in Pauley Pavilion on December 30.
In addition to the always competitive Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) contests, the 2025 Bruin regular-season slate features non-conference battles with St. Francis in Pauley Pavilion on Jan. 10, followed by Ohio State and Penn State at the First Point Challenge in Austin, Texas on Jan. 17 and Jan. 18. After a home contest with UC San Diego on Jan. 23, the Bruins hit the road for four-straight starting with a match at CSUN on Jan. 24.
UCLA will face Penn State and Ohio State for the second time in 2025 on Jan. 30 and on Feb. 1 at the B1G Challenge hosted by Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio. The Bruins will play Penn State on Jan. 30, and Ohio State on Feb. 1.
Long Beach State and UCLA will play in a rematch of last year's NCAA Championship match on Feb. 7 at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach to close out UCLA's four-match road trip.
The Bruins return to Pauley Pavilion for the first time in three weeks on Feb. 12 to host Long Beach State. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT.
After hosting Long Beach State, the Bruins will take on a pair of UC schools to wrap up the non-conference schedule. UCLA will play at UC Irvine on Feb. 19, before hosting the Anteaters on Feb. 22. Th Bruins will follow those matches by hosting UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 26, before playing at the Gauchos on the night of Feb. 28.
UCLA opens MPSF play with two home matches against Stanford on March 6 and 7. After that, the Bruins take on new conference member Vanguard for the first-ever match between the two squads on March 13 in Costa Mesa, California, before hosting the Lions on March 15.
Two weeks later, the Bruins will host Pepperdine in Pauley Pavilion on March 27 before playing in Malibu two nights later on March 29. After the two matches with Pepperdine, the Bruins will head to Phoenix, Arizona, to play Grand Canyon University on April 4 and 5.
BYU comes to Pauley Pavilion on back-to-back nights on April 11 and 12, before the Bruins host crosstown rival USC on Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m. PT to close out the regular season home slate. UCLA will finish the regular season at USC on April 19.
Pepperdine is the site for the 2025 MPSF Tournament from April 23-26, with the winner receiving the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament. Ohio State is scheduled to serve as the host school for this year's NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship event in Columbus, Ohio from May 8 to 12.
Single-match tickets for all UCLA home matches will go on sale the week of December 9.
