LOS ANGELES – UCLA Women's Basketball (5-0, 0-0 Big Ten) has claimed the No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press (AP) Top 25 Women's College Basketball Poll for the first time in program history.
The Bruins captured their previous program-best ranking during the 2023-24 season, sitting as the second-ranked team in the nation from week three through week 10. UCLA jumped up to No. 2 again in week 12 and ranked No. 10 in the final AP poll.
