UCLA Softball Announces 2025 Schedule

December 17, 2024 | Softball

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA softball program announced its full schedule for the upcoming 2025 season on Tuesday. There are currently 56 games listed on the schedule, including 21 home contests at Easton Stadium.

UCLA softball is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025. The Bruins will be recognizing the program's storied tradition, epic moments and legendary players, dating back to their first season of organized softball in 1975. Fans can look forward to programming throughout the season around the 50th anniversary, including "Fifty Year Fridays" (more information coming soon), UCLA Softball Alumni of the Game at all home games and 50th anniversary-themed giveaways.

Single-game home tickets for the 2025 season will go on sale in January.

All dates and times are subject to change. Big Ten Conference game times and broadcast selections will be announced at a later date. Non-televised home games can be streamed on B1G+.

For the third straight year, the Bruins open the season against Cal State Fullerton on Thursday, Feb. 6 at Easton Stadium at 6 p.m. (PT) to begin the 21st annual Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament. UCLA also welcomes IU Indianapolis and Utah Tech for its first-ever meetings against the two programs for opening weekend at Easton Stadium on Friday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively. After two neutral-site games versus Nevada and Lehigh at Bill Barber Park in Irvine, Calif. on Saturday, Feb. 8, the Bruins return to Easton Stadium on Sunday to close out the weekend versus UC Riverside at 10:30 a.m.

After opening weekend, UCLA make its return to Florida for a fifth straight year to compete at the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational where all five games will be televised by the ESPN Family of Networks (Feb. 14-16). UCLA will face Oklahoma State and Alabama, two teams that reached the Women's College World Series last season, on Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15, respectively. Tickets for the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational at Eddie C. Moore Complex are on sale now at this link.

The following week, the Bruins return to a tournament staple for the 19th edition of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic at Big League Dreams Sports Park in Cathedral City, Calif. (Feb. 20-23). Four of UCLA's six opponents reached Super Regionals in the 2024 NCAA Tournament: Missouri, Tennessee, Baylor and Duke. Tickets for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic can be purchased at this link.

UCLA closes its non-conference slate at the Judi Garman Classic at Anderson Family Field in Fullerton, Calif. (Feb. 27-March 1). UCLA opens the tournament on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 12 p.m. versus LSU, a team that finished one game short of reaching the WCWS in the Stanford Super Regional a year ago. The Bruins will face longtime rival and former conference-mate Arizona in the tournament finale on Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m.

The Big Ten announced its conference softball schedule on Sept. 24. UCLA will play 22 Big Ten games with 11 at home and 11 on the road. UCLA's conference slate features six three-game series and a pair of two-game series (Iowa and Ohio State).
