Women’s Golf Selected as No. 1 Seed in NCAA Las Vegas Regional

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women's golf team was tabbed as the No. 1 seed for the NCAA Las Vegas Regional at Spanish Trail Country Club set to take place from May 6-8, it was announced during Wednesday morning's Selection Show.
The five other No. 1 seeds in the 2024 NCAA Tournament are Stanford, South Carolina, Wake Forest, LSU and USC. The six sites feature 12 teams and six individual competitors.
The No. 4 Bruins will be competing with against 11 programs in the Las Vegas Regional: No. 9 Arkansas, No. 16 Arizona, No. 19 Florida State, California, Purdue, Baylor, Oklahoma, Colorado State, Kent State, Xavier and Dartmouth.*

UCLA competed at Spanish Trail Country Club earlier this season, taking first place at The Show (March 4-5). Junior Zoe Antoinette Campos earned medalist honors at the event.
The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each NCAA Regionals site will advance to compete in the NCAA Championships to be played May 17-22 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Championship play will be hosted by University of Texas at Austin, with the final three days of the championships televised live by the Golf Channel.
