Su’emai Named Second Team All-American as UCLA’s Season Concludes

EUGENE, Ore. - UCLA women's track and field concluded its season at the 2024 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday afternoon with one First Team All-American, six Second Team All-Americans, and an All-American Honorable Mention. 

Lyvante Su'emai competed for the Bruins in the women's discus event on the fourth and final day of competition at Hayward Field. Throwing a mark of 55.27m (181-4), Su'emai placed 13th and earned Second Team All-American. 

With the conclusion of the discus throw, UCLA track and field received All-America honors in nine events, with five on the women's side and four on the men's to wrap up the 2024 outdoor season.
