LOS ANGELES – Five student-athletes on the UCLA softball team were listed to D1Softball's 2025 Preseason D100 Player Rankings, it was announced Monday morning.
The featured Bruins include Taylor Tinsley (No. 27), Kaitlyn Terry (No. 36), Megan Grant (No. 40), Jordan Woolery (No. 50) and Jessica Clements (No. 55). All five players were also named to Softball America's 2025 Preseason Top 100 List earlier this month. D1Softball will be releasing its Player Position Rankings throughout the rest of this week.
Tinsley was the only UCLA player selected as a Softball America Preseason All-American, being tabbed to the second team.
The Bruins, who are celebrating the program's 50th anniversary in 2025, open the season on Thursday, Feb. 6 versus Cal State Fullerton at 6 p.m. (PT) to kick off the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament. Single-game home tickets will go on sale later this week on mid-January.
