With rain in the afternoon forecast, the start time for Friday's UCLA men's tennis match at No. 22 USC has been pushed back from 3 p.m. PT to 6 p.m. PT.
The Bruins (4-6, 2-0 in Big Ten play), who earned 7-0 wins against Indiana (March 7) and Purdue (March 9) at Los Angeles Tennis Center to start conference play, are slated to face their crosstown rivals for the first time as Big Ten Conference mates.
The Trojans (8-4, 2-0) won a 4-3 decision in the teams' non-conference meeting at LATC (Feb. 22). Alexander Hoogmartens, Rudy Quan and Emon van Loben Sels were victorious in singles play for UCLA, but their wins were not enough. USC's Karl Lee prevailed in the day's final match. Matteo Morazzi and Nathan Trouve also won singles contests for the Trojans, who also claimed the doubles point.
