STOCKTON, Calif. – No. 4 UCLA (16-3, 4-0 MPSF) improved to 6-0 on the road this season with a 16-8 win at No. 20 Pacific (9-7) on Sunday afternoon at Chris Kjeldsen Pool at the Douglass M. Eberhardt Aquatics Center. With the win over the Tigers, the Bruins improved to 29-0 in the series history.

A total of eight Bruins scored against Pacific, paced by a career-high-tying six goals from junior Anna Pearson. Junior Bia Mantellato also had a hat trick. Junior Taylor Smith was the only other Bruin to score multiple goals with two against the Tigers.

Sophomore Lauren Steele got the start in the cage and went the distance, tallying 10 saves, one steal, and one assist while allowing eight goals.

The Bruins jumped out to a 6-2 lead at the end of the first period. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the second period as UCLA would take a 7-3 lead into the break. Another 6-2 frame for the Bruins in the third expanded the lead to 13-5 heading into the final stanza. Another draw followed in the fourth (3-3) to provide the 16-8 final.

Up Next: The Bruins return home to host an exhibition game against Team USA and the Senior Women's National Team on Saturday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m. PT at Dirks Pool at Spieker Aquatics Center.
