Women's Tennis Completes Day 2 in Honolulu

HONOLULU โ The UCLA women's tennis team continued its time at the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational Saturday, posting five singles wins and a pair of doubles victories against foes from California and Hawaii. The University of Hawaii Tennis Complex is hosting the event, scheduled to conclude Sunday.
Day 2 saw the 38th-ranked Anne-Christine Lutkemeyer down No. 35 Katja Wiersholm of Cal by a 6-1, 6-0 score. In another matchup of nationally-ranked counterparts, No. 41 Kate Fakih beat No. 71 Mao Mushika of Cal 7-5, 6-1. Olivia Center, Ahmani Guichard and No. 53 Elise Wagle were also victorious in singles play. The pairs of No. 4 Center/Fakih and No. 36 Guichard/Lutkemeyer prevailed in doubles matches to start the day.
