Lutkemeyer Named to Big Ten Women's Tennis Player to Watch List

ROSEMONT, Ill. โ UCLA'sย Anne-Christine Lutkemeyer was named to the 2025 Big Ten Women's Tennis Players to Watch List Monday, the conference announced. One student-athlete from each member university earned a spot on the list.
A 5-5 junior from Irvine, Calif., Lutkemeyer was a first-time NCAA singles qualifier during the fall. She beat Ludmila Kareisova of Ole Miss in the opening round for what also represented a career milestone. Lutkemeyer's victory was her 100th across collegiate singles and doubles matches. She went 13-4 in singles play during the fall and added a 12-4 doubles mark. Lutkemeyer is ranked a career-best No. 38 in singles by the ITA. She won the ITA West Sectional Championships singles crown in November and was subsequently named Big Ten Player of the Week. . Lutkemeyer is also No. 36 alongside Ahmani Guichard in doubles.
Lutkemeyer logged a 20-8 singles record (13-4 in dual matches) during the 2023-24 campaign. She went 30-4 (21-2) in doubles. Lutkemeyer led the NCAA Championships quarterfinalist Bruins in total wins, doubles wins and dual-match doubles wins. She posted four match-clinching points. Off the court, Lutkemeyer was tabbed a CSC Academic All-District Team member and earned a third-team CSC Academic All-Americaยฎ honor.
