UCLA Announces 2025 Women's Water Polo Schedule

LOS ANGELES โ Theย UCLA women's water polo team announced its 2025 schedule today, highlighted by conference home games against California (Mar. 8)ย and USC (Apr. 19) on "Senior Day." The Bruins will also serve as the hosts of the 2025 MPSF Women's Water Polo Championship (Apr. 25-27).
The Bruins will compete in three tournaments during the regular season, beginning with theย California Invitational (Jan. 25-26). The Bruins will face No. 15 UC Davis to open the seasonย at 12:00 p.m. PT andย then take on No. 8 Long Beach State at 3:30 p.m. PT on Saturday and close out the weekend slate with an exhibition game with No. 2 Stanford and take on No. 9 Fresno State on Sunday.
UCLA will hit the road again the following weekendย to compete in the Triton Invitational at UC San Diego (Friday, Jan. 31 through Sunday, Feb.ย 2 - teams to be announced at a later date).
The Bruins will then open MPSF play with a game at No. 13 Arizona State on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1:00 p.m. PT. UCLA will remain on the road the following week with a solo game at No. 6 UC Irvine on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 12:00 p.m. PT.
UCLA finishes off the month of February with four games atย the Barbara Kalbus Invitational (Friday, Feb. 21, through Sunday, Feb. 23).
The Bruins will hostย the Bulldogs in the second meeting of the year with Fresno State in their home opener on Saturday, Mar. 1 at 1:00 p.m. PT, and then return to MPSF action the following week at home against the Golden Bears (Mar. 8 at 1:00 p.m. PT). Another MPSF home date follows on Sunday, Mar. 9 when UCLA hosts No. 11 Indiana at 11:00 a.m. PT.
The following week, UCLA ends its four-game home stand with No. 6 Princeton on Thursday, Mar. 13 before traveling to No. 18 San Jose State in a league game on Saturday, Mar. 15. The Bruins will finish a busy week with a non-conference game at No. 19 Pacific (Mar. 16).
UCLA opens April with No. 2 Stanford in its final road game of the regular season on Saturday, Apr. 5 and will then closeย out the regular seasonย with a pair of home games against No. 5 Hawai'i (Apr. 12) and No. 3 USC (Apr. 19) on "Senior Day."
The Bruins will host the 2025ย MPSF Championshipย on Apr. 25-27 while Indiana will host the 2025 NCAA Championshipย on Mayย 9-11 in Bloomington, Ind.
