LOS ANGELES -- UCLA freshman attacker Jackson Harlan (Newport Beach, Calif./Corona del Mar HS) has been named the MPSF West/S&R Sport Newcomer of the Week as announced by the league office today.
Harlan helped UCLA to a 1-0 record this past week (18-0 overall) with a 23-10 home win over No. 13 Princeton on Saturday, Oct. 11.
He scored the final goal for the Bruins at the 3:09 mark of the fourth quarter on a power play.
This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Harlan.
