Immethun Named to MAC Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List

UCLA senior defender Jennie Immethun has been selected to the 35-member MAC Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List.
The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by voting of Division I head coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
Immethun transferred to UCLA this season from TCU and has made an immediate impact with the Bruins. She has played in every minute of every game this year while leading a Bruin defense that has allowed just four goals all season. UCLA holds a 0.33 goals against average, which ranks third in the nation. She was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Bruins record a shutout in the season opener at Georgia, making a goal line save with 30 seconds left to play to preserve the 1-0 victory. Immethun made another goal line save a few weeks later, knocking away a header that appeared headed for goal in a 2-0 win at Portland.
Last season at TCU, Immethun was an All-Big 12 selection and started 20 of 22 games for the Horned Frogs, helping the Big 12 champions log seven shutouts on the year.
The 2025 midseason watch list was compiled by members of the Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List Committee. A total of 15 players will be named semifinalists on December 2 at the conclusion of NCAA Division I All-American voting. From that list, head coaches will cast votes, and three players will be named finalists. The 2025 recipient will be announced on January 9, 2026, in a ceremony at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis, Mo.
