
Men's Basketball Heads to Big Ten Media Day on Thursday

CHICAGOย โ UCLA head coachย Mick Cronin and seniors Tyler Bilodeau and Skyy Clark will be representing the UCLA men's basketball program at Big Ten Men's Basketball Media Day in Chicago on Thursday, Oct. 9.

Cronin, The Michael Price Family UCLA Men's Head Basketball Coach, enters his seventh season as the Bruins' head coach in 2025-26. Both Bilodeau and Clark played major roles on UCLA's team last season. Bilodeau secured third-team All-Big Ten Conference honors, as selected by the league's coaches. Clark led UCLA in three-pointers made (48) and was second on the team in 3-point percentage (39.7 percent).

Bilodeau has played in 97 career games, making 78 starts, through three seasons โ his first two at Oregon State and last season at UCLA. Clark enters his fourth collegiate season and his second year at UCLA, having played in 76 games (74 starts). Bilodeau, a 6-foot-9 forward from Kennewick, Wash., led the Bruins in scoring last season (13.5 points per game). He shot 49.6 percent from the field and a team-best 40.0 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.

Clark averaged 8.5 points, 2.8 rebounds per game and 2.7 assists per game, competing in all 34 games for UCLA last season. A 6-foot-3 guard who grew up in Los Angeles, Clark shot 45.8 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from 3-point distance.

Big Ten Media Day in Chicago will feature multiple interviews with members of the broadcast, print and online media, including the network television partners of the conference. Fans can watch Coach Cronin, joined by Bilodeau and Clark, on the Big Ten Network set on Thursday at 11:45 a.m. (1:45 p.m. CT in Chicago). The Big Ten Network will be carrying action live from the league's men's basketball media day starting at 10 a.m. PT (12 p.m. CT).

The Bruins' 31-game regular-season schedule will begin on Monday, Nov. 3, as UCLA hosts Eastern Washington in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom Financial. The Bruins' season opener that evening will begin at 7:30 p.m., televised live on Big Ten Network.

Fans can catch an early look at UCLA's team in two upcoming exhibition games. The Bruins will play at San Diego State on Friday, Oct. 17. Game time is 7 p.m. (PT). UCLA will host UC Irvine in its second exhibition game on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Game time against the Anteaters is 7 p.m. (PT).

UCLA finished its 2024-25 campaign with a 23-11 overall record and a 13-7 mark in the Big Ten regular-season standings. The Bruins advanced to the NCAA Tournament's second round, defeating No. 10-seed Utah State before losing to No. 2-seed Tennessee.
