UCLA Earns No. 8 Seed in NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women's volleyball team earned a No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to face Georgia Tech in the opening round.
The match is set to take place on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 4:30 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m. PT) inside Historic Memorial Coliseum. The interactive bracket is available here.
The winner of UCLA's first-round matchup against Georgia Tech will advance to the second round to meet the victor of No. 1-seed Kentucky vs. Wofford. The top-seeded Wildcats will host the regional in Lexington.
The Bruins (18-12, 12-8 Big Ten) return to the postseason for the first time since 2021, earning their first NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Alfee Reft.
This year's bid represents UCLA's 39th overall NCAA Tournament appearance. The Bruins own a 94-35 (.729) all-time postseason record and have captured four national championships.
UCLA also holds a perfect 4-0 mark in the all-time series against Georgia Tech, including a thrilling five-set victory over the Yellow Jackets in last season's opener on Aug. 30, 2024.
All-session tickets will go on-sale to the general public through UKathletics.com and the UK Ticket Office on Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET. Single-session tickets will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET.
