UCLA Gymnastics Offers Free Sneak Peek Saturday at Meet the Bruins
December 10, 2025 | Gymnastics
UCLA Gymnastics fans will get a sneak preview of the 2026 season during the annual Meet the Bruins showcase on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. The event takes place in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom Financial, with free tickets available at uclabruins.com/tickets. UCLA Gymnastics is also hosting a food drive in conjunction with Meet the Bruins, with proceeds going directly to UCLA's CPO Basic and Essential Needs Collective.
The Bruins are coming off a NCAA runner-up finish and a sweep of the Big Ten regular season and conference championship titles. Headlining the 2026 UCLA squad is Olympic gold medalist and three-time NCAA champion Jordan Chiles, who is coming off a third-place finish on Dancing with the Stars. Also returning are 2025 Big Ten balance beam champion Ciena Alipio, former U.S. National Team members Katelyn Rosen and Sydney Barros, and former Development Program national champions Macy McGowan and Mika Webster-Longin. Among the newcomers to the squad are 2025 U.S. National Team members Ashlee Sullivan, Tiana Sumanasekera and Nola Matthews.
The Bruins will be split into two teams for the event (Team Holly and Team Jolly) and will compete head-to-head, with a guest panel deciding on a winner for each head-to-head round. The team with the most cumulative points after all four events will win.
Meet the Bruins will be broadcast live on Big Ten Plus (B1G+), the Big Ten Network's subscription streaming platform, which offers access to nearly 2,500 events annually. The Bruins will be streamed on B1G+ three other times this season. B1G+ subscriptions can be purchased directly at www.bigtenplus.com.
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to UCLA's CPO Basic and Essential Needs Collective prior to entry at the North Entrance of Pauley Pavilion. The CPO Basic and Essential Needs Collective is an anonymous pantry that provides UCLA students with food and other basic necessities. Among the items the Collective is seeking are shelf-stable, non-perishable food items and basic hygiene products. Please check expiration dates before donating. Click here for recommended items.
The 2026 season officially kicks off on Saturday, Jan. 3 with a quad-meet at Washington against the Huskies, California and Oregon State. Season tickets for UCLA's home meets are on sale now at uclabruins.com/tickets.
