CARY, N.C. – Sophomore right-handed pitchers Easton Hawk and Wylan Moss have been selected to compete with the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, announced Sunday morning by the organization.
The squad will compete in the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship at Taichung City Intercontinental Baseball Stadium in Taichung City, Taiwan, from July 11-15. The roster was named after 11 days of workouts, practices, and intrasquad scrimmages across North Carolina and Virginia.
With Hawk and Moss joining the roster, UCLA has now produced 33 USA Collegiate National Team selections, marking the second straight summer in which multiple Bruins earned spots in the squad, following Roch Cholowsky and Mulivai Levu in 2025.
UCLA was one of six schools with multiple players on the national team - Florida (3) Auburn, Mississippi State, Oregon, UCLA, and Vanderbilt (2).
Hawk earned First Team NCBWA and First Team ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors and was also selected as a Third Team Baseball America All-American after emerging as one of the most dominant late-inning arms in college baseball. Hawk posted a 1.93 ERA with 14 saves and 52 strikeouts across 34 appearances, holding opponents to a .187 average. He allowed only nine earned runs all season and was central to UCLA's 52-8 record, delivering multiple multi-inning saves against ranked opponents.
Wylan Moss earned Second Team All-America honors from both Perfect Game and NCBWA. Moss went 5-1 with a 2.49 ERA across 65.0 innings, striking out 76 and holding opponents to a .194 average. His ability to neutralize the middle of opposing lineups in multi-inning, high-leverage situations made him one of the most valuable relievers in the country.
