BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Twenty-one members of the UCLA women’s water polo team earned All-Academic Team accolades for 2025-26, it was announced Wednesday by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC). In order to qualify, a student-athlete must have held a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher for the academic year and dressed for at least one game.
Honorees are split into three categories according to GPA. “Outstanding” celebrates those who held a 4.0-3.71 mark, “Superior” recognizes those who fall into 3.7-3.41 and “Excellent” is for those who reached 3.4-3.2. Four Bruins made the cut for “Outstanding,” nine were “Superior” and seven “Excellent.” The team GPA was 3.46.
Nine of UCLA’s All-Academic Team selections made the list for a second or third time. Dania Innis, Carly McMurray, Becca Melanson and Anna Pearson all became two-time picks, while Zoë Frangieh, Lily Gess, Emma Lineback, Bia Mantellato and Izzy Rosensitto are now three-timers.
