UCLA Athletics announced today that it received more than $41 million in private philanthropic support from more than 6,500 donors during fiscal year 2025-26. The year’s momentum represents an 80.6% increase in fundraising over the past two years.
"The Bruin family has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to our student-athletes by helping us provide an elite experience both on and off the field,” UCLA’s Alice and Nahum Lainer Family Director of Athletics Martin Jarmond said. “As college athletics continues to evolve, our supporters have made it clear that UCLA intends to compete and win at the highest level. We are incredibly grateful to the thousands of Bruins whose generosity is helping to shape the future of UCLA Athletics.”
Donor support continues to fuel success across UCLA's 25-sport program through the Wooden Athletic Fund, which provides critical resources that help student-athletes succeed in the classroom, in competition and in the community while supporting the operational needs of UCLA Athletics.
The impact of philanthropic support was evident throughout the year, helping advance several key priorities across the department.
The year was highlighted by several transformational gifts, including a $10 million commitment from Angelo M. Mazzone III to establish the naming endowment for the UCLA Head Football Coach position. UCLA Athletics also received multiple seven-figure gifts, reflecting significant donor confidence in the future of UCLA Athletics.
UCLA Athletics welcomed seven new members to the 1919 Society, recognizing individuals whose cumulative giving to UCLA Athletics has surpassed $1 million. UCLA's 42 Society, which recognizes donors who have committed $100,000 or more annually in support of Athletics, now includes 40 members.
The fundraising year reflects the collective commitment of alumni, parents, fans, former student-athletes and friends of the university who continue to invest in UCLA's mission of developing champions in competition, the classroom and the community.
