LOS ANGELES (SEPTEMBER 15, 2026) – UCLA Athletics today announced a new multiyear partnership with JLab, making the leading personal technology and audio company the Official Headphone Sponsor of UCLA Football and UCLA Men’s and Women’s Basketball beginning this fall. The partnership marks one of JLab’s deepest integrations with a collegiate athletics program to date, bringing the brand into the moments that power the Bruin experience, from preparation and competition to the energy of gameday and life across campus.
Beginning this season, JLab will become an integral part of the UCLA Football experience, with branding on all coaches’ headsets, highlighting how premium audio technology supports communication, focus, and preparation throughout the week and during key gameday moments. The partnership arrives as UCLA Football prepares to enter a new era under new Head Coach Bob Chesney, who arrives in Westwood after leading James Madison to the program’s most successful run to-date, including a College Football Playoff appearance.
“College football is where performance, personality and culture come together, and sound is part of how athletes prepare, compete and celebrate,” said Terra Teat, Chief Marketing Officer at JLab. “UCLA Athletics showcases these attributes, from their established names and emerging talent, the program reflects JLab’s belief that high-performance technology should be accessible to every athlete and fan.”
This same energy will extend beyond the field, as select Bruin student-athletes were also included in this year’s JLab Playmakers Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) roster. Together, this integrated campaign, spanning UCLA Athletics and members of the student-athlete community, showcases the rhythm of being a Bruin through traveling, training, preparing, and competing.
The partnership was developed in collaboration with JMI Sports – UCLA Athletics’ multimedia rights partner operating locally as UCLA and Rose Bowl Properties – who led the strategic development of the agreement and helped JLab build a comprehensive presence across UCLA Athletics. The partnership will bring JLab activations to the Rose Bowl Stadium, Pauley Pavilion, and additional UCLA Athletics touchpoints throughout the year.
“JLab has already built a purposeful connection with the Bruin community through its NIL program and expanding that presence into the gameday experience is a natural next step,” said Scott Gwartz, Vice President, Partnerships at UCLA and Rose Bowl Properties. “From the sidelines to the student section, audio plays an important role in how teams communicate, prepare, and connect, and we are excited to see JLab integrate their technology into life across UCLA Athletics and Campus to become a bigger part of the Bruin family.”
