ROSEMONT, Ill. – UCLA’s Jen Lee, Kacey Ly and Michelle Xing were named to the annual Big Ten Women’s Golfers to Watch List on Wednesday. The list features 53 student-athletes from the conference.

Lee enjoyed a breakout sophomore year in her first season at UCLA in 2025-26, culminating in All-Big Ten First Team accolades. Lee ranked second on the team with a 72.6 scoring average and claimed the first victory of her collegiate career at the Windy City Collegiate Classic on Sept. 30, 2025.

Ly, the 2026 Big Ten Freshman of the Year and All-Big Ten First Team honoree, enters her sophomore campaign. Ly led UCLA with a 72.54 scoring average, four top-five finishes, an 88.6% counting-round percentage (31/35) and four eagles over 12 starts and 35 rounds last season. Ly recorded all four of her top-five finishes and six rounds in the 60s during spring 2026.

Xing, UCLA’s lone newcomer this season, arrived in Westwood as 95th-ranked amateur in the World and seventh-ranked Canadian. Xing claimed the Duchess of Connaught Gold Cup at the 111th Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship in July 2025 and won the 2024 ORORO PGA Women’s Championship of Canada at age 15, becoming the youngest champion in tournament history and breaking the record previously held by Brooke Henderson.

UCLA is currently competing in the final round of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn. Midway through the third round, the Bruins are in seventh place at 6-over in the 12-team field.
