No. 1 UCLA Completes Sweep with 14-6 Win Over Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa โ The No. 1-ranked UCLA baseball team capped off another dominant weekend by finishing off the three-game sweep over Iowa with a 14-6 victory on Sunday afternoon at Duane Banks Field.

The Bruins (25-2, 12-0 Big Ten) have now swept four straight weekends to open conference play, racing out to a perfect 12-0 start. UCLA has won 19 consecutive games, its longest streak since opening the 2010 season 22-0.

Roman Martin powered the offense with a pair of home runs as part of a 3-for-5 day, driving in a career-high six RBIs in the contest.

Four Bruins turned in two-hit performances including Dean West, Mulivai Levu, and Will Gasparino. West and Gasparino each homered in the contest.
