June 10, 2026 | Men's Golf
UCLA sophomore men's golfer Baylor Larrabee has been recognized as an honorable mention NCAA Division I PING All-America selection by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), as announced on Wednesday.
This marks the first such honorable mention recognition for Larrabee, who played an instrumental role in leading the Bruins to a runner-up finish at last week's NCAA Division I Championships in Carlsbad, Calif. Larrabee, a sophomore from Ferndale, Wash., concluded the season with a scoring average of 70.95, which ranks ninth in the school's single-season record book.
Through two seasons at UCLA, Larrabee has recorded a career scoring average of 71.72, which currently ranks fifth in program history (minimum of 40 rounds completed).
Larrabee shot 9-under 279 through four rounds of stroke play at the NCAA Championships, helping propel UCLA into match play. The Bruins defeated Texas and Arizona in consecutive matches on Tuesday, June 2, to move into the NCAA finals on Wednesday against Auburn. Larrabee concluded the season with a team-best 19 rounds under par and 16 rounds under 70.
Following UCLA's second-consecutive Big Ten Championship in May, Larrabee was honored as a first-team All-Big Ten selection, along with teammate Josh Kim. Larrabee finished in a tie for sixth place at the NCAA Championships (stroke play). In the fall, he finished fourth at the Fighting Irish Classic (Oct. 2025). He registered a third-place finish at the Southwestern Invitational (Jan. 2026), carding 3-under 207 across 54 holes at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.
The complete lists of PING All-America selections include 10 student-athletes named to the first, second and third teams, respectively. In all, 30 golfers are selected as honorable mentions.
Last season, UCLA had two student-athletes who were recognized as PING All-America selections at the conclusion of their senior seasons. Pablo Ereño was honored as a third-team Division I PING All-America honoree. Omar Morales was listed as an honorable mention All-America selection.
