Ngauamo finished her junior season with an overall record of 9-0, playing the entire time with Zana Muno on court four (4-0 in Pac-12 Tournament and 3-0 in NCAA Tournament) ... named Pac-12 Beach Volleyball All-Tournament Team and 2016 NCAA All-Tournament Team (No. 4 Pair) ... posted dual wins vs. Loyola Marymount (April 20), at CSUN (April 20), vs. Washington (April 29), vs. Arizona (April 30), at USC (May 1), vs. Arizona (May 1), vs. Stetson (May 6), vs. Pepperdine (May 7) and vs. Hawai'i (May 7).

Ngauamo partnered with Kamila Tan, exclusively on court one, and posted an overall record of 8-10 (7-8 in duals) ... posted wins over CSUN (March 6), vs. Irvine Valley College (March 8), vs. CSU Bakersfield (March 8), at San Francisco (March 27), at Santa Clara (March 29), at Stanford (March 29) and vs. Santa Clara (April 12).

Jessyka Ngauamo played numerous sports at Benowa State High School in Benowa, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia ... played both indoor and beach volleyball, basketball, netball, cross country and swimming ... most of her competition came at the club and National level ... was a member of the U19, U21 and U23 National Beach Volleyball teams in 2013 ... competed at the World Beach Volleyball Championships and three Beach Volleyball World Tour Grand Slams ... in 2012, was the team captain for the U19 South Coast squad, which resulted in a State Championship, earning MVP honors ... was the U19 Australian team captain, as well as a member of the U19 Australian Beach Volleyball and Senior Australian Beach Volleyball teams ... named the Queensland Beach Volleyball State Tour Rookie of the Year and Queensland Junior Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year.

Born Jessyka Tonga Ngauamo on Dec. 3, 1995 in Auckland, New Zealand ... parents are Angela and Johnny Ngauamo ... father was a professional rugby player in New Zealand, England and France ... has an older sister, Ashley, and a younger brother, Isaac ... chose to attend UCLA because of the amazing opportunity to study abroad while being able to play the sport she loves at a very high level ... thing she likes the most about volleyball is the team aspect ... besides moving from Australia to UCLA, lists her biggest athletic thrill as competing at the 2013 World Beach Volleyball Championships in Myslowice, Poland ... hobbies include going to the beach and hanging with friends ... athlete she admires the most is tennis player Roger Federer ... favorites include television shows “Elementary”, “Modern Family” and “New Girl” and eating sushi ... her ultimate goal is to go to the Olympics ... majoring in sociology.
