Lea Monkhouse ended the season with an overall record of 29-12 (117-39 career) … began the season with Lexy Denaburg going 4-1 on court one and then went 11-7 with Rileigh Powers (1-0 on court one, 9-7 on court two, and 1-0 on court three) … ended the year with Jessie Smith going 14-4 (all on court three) … the Bruins faced 34 ranked opponents in the 43 duals on the year with Monkhouse going 20-12 against ranked teams (one match was truncated at the NCAA Championship) … recorded a season-best winning streak of five consecutive duals (first one with Powers and then four with Smith) which began with No. 12 California (Apr. 9) and ended vs. No. 6 Loyola Marymount (Apr. 15) … Monkhouse also clinched five victories in dual matches on the year for the Bruins (four with Powers and one with Smith) with the biggest coming in a 4-1 victory over No. 5 LSU (Mar. 20) at the March to May event in Gulf Shores, Ala. … Smith and Monkhouse went 7-2 in postseason play (4-0 at NCAAs, 3-2 at Pac-12s) … Smith went 22-7 in two-set matches and 5-4 in three-set matches on the year.

Ended the season with an overall record of 22-12 (88-27 career) … had four different partners on the year, spending most of the time on court two with Abby Van Winkle where the duo went 13-7 overall (12-7 on court two and 1-0 on court three) … also went 6-4 with Devon Newberry (5-4 on court two and 1-0 on court three) … was 2-1 on court four with Cami Sanchez and 1-0 on court five with Maggie Walters … the Bruins faced 33 ranked opponents in the 37 duals on the year with Monkhouse going 17-12 against ranked teams (one match was truncated at the Pac-12 Championship and two matches at the NCAA Championship, did not play in the other five) … recorded a season-best winning streak of five consecutive duals with Abby Van Winkle, which began with No. 7 Pepperdine (Mar. 25) and ended vs. No. 3 LSU (Apr. 3) … Monkhouse clinched five victories in dual matches on the year for the Bruins (three with Van Winkle, one with Newberry, and one with Walters) … she was 17-8 in two-set matches and 5-4 in three-set matches on the year.
2020
Ended the season with an overall record of 10-4 and a career mark of 66-15 … partnered with Lily Justine for the entire season and was 9-3 on court three and 1-1 on court two … the Bruins faced 11 ranked opponents in the 15 duals in the shortened season with Monkhouse going 7-4 against ranked teams … recorded a season-best winning streak of three consecutive duals twice during the year … the duo also clinched three victories in dual matches on the year for the Bruins … she was 7-2 in two-set matches and 3-2 in three-set matches on the year.
2019
Ended the season with an overall record of 22-5 (all with junior Savvy Simo), with the duo going 20-4 on court four and 2-1 on court three … named Pac-12 Pair of the Week (April 9) … she was forced out of the UCLA lineup after a hard-fought 2-1 defeat to Hawai'i in the Bruins' first round of the NCAA Championship due to injury and was replaced by Madi Yeomans … the Bruins faced 32 ranked opponents in the 38 duals with Monkhouse going 17-5 against ranked teams ... Monkhouse clinched three victories in dual matches on the year for the Bruins … Monkhouse was 21-2 in two-set matches (19-1 on court four and 2-1 on court three) and was 1-3 in three-set matches (all on court four) … she went 4-2 in postseason play (4-1 in Pac-12s and 0-1 in NCAAs) … recorded a season-best winning streak of 13 consecutive duals during the season with Simo (started on March 29 and ended on April 26).
2018 (HAWAI'I)
Monkhouse entered her sophomore season with a career record of 34-6 … named All-Big West First Team with partner Morgan Martin and Big West Freshman of the Year … named Big West Pairs Team of the Week a league-high three times with Martin … ended the season with an overall record of 34-6 (all with Morgan Martin) … set a UH freshman record with 34 wins, going 19-3 on court two and 15-3 on court three … Monkhouse was 8-2 in three-set matches and was 17-6 against ranked opponents … recorded a personal-best winning streak of 19 consecutive duals and won 28 of 29 matches leading up to the NCAA Tournament.
