Rowed in UCLA's novice crews as a freshman...rowed five seat in the third eight crew in a season-opening dual-meet victory against Loyola Marymount (March 8)...rowed seven seat in the N8+ crew in a dual-meet win versus San Diego State (March 15)...stroked the N8+ at the Pac-10 Challenge (March 29-30) and at the San Diego Crew Classic (April 5-6)...rowed seven seat in the N8+ at the Stanford Invitational (April 19-20), versus USC (May 3) and at the Pac-10 Championships (May 18).

Three-year varsity water polo letterwinner (2003-05), three-year soccer letterwinner (2005-07) and two-year swimming letterwinner (2004-05) at Alameda High School.
