Player Notes

- Junior QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson moved up to 10th on UCLA’s career passing yards list with 4,511, passing Dennis Dummit (4,366). Next up on the list is Wayne Cook (9th, 4,723).
- With 14 completions, Thompson-Robinson is now ninth on UCLA’s career completions list with 362, passing Cook (352).
- Thompson-Robinson accounted for four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing). His three touchdown passes moved him into eighth on UCLA’s career TD list with 35, passing Cook (34). 
- Thompson-Robinson recorded at least one passing and one rushing touchdown in the same game for the fifth time in his career and second time this season. It is also the third time in his last four contests he ran into the end zone for a score.
- Thompson-Robinson is now tied for 12th for starts by a UCLA quarterback with 21 (Dennis Dummit, Tommy Maddox).
- Redshirt senior RB Demetric Felton rushed for 107 yards, his second career 100-yard rushing game (Oregon State - Oct. 5, 2019). His 25 rushes were a career high. Felton also caught a pass for the 14th game in a row.
- Redshirt sophomore WR Kyle Philips caught a pass for the 13th game in a row, including a five-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter, his first of the season.
- Redshirt freshman WR Charles Njoku caught his first collegiate passes, including the first touchdown of his career, a 27-yarder in the second quarter.
- Junior WR Chase Cota caught his first touchdown pass of the season, a six-yarder in the second quarter.
- Graduate student RB Brittain Brown scored his first touchdown of the season and first as a Bruin on a 31-yard run in the fourth quarter.
- Redshirt senior DL Osa Odighizuwa made his 22nd career start, the most on the roster. He registered his first sack of the season in the second quarter, adding a half sack in the third to give him nine for his career.
- Redshirt junior LB Caleb Johnson notched his first interception as a Bruin in the second quarter. He also had 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss.
- Redshirt junior LB Mitchell Agude posted his first sack as a Bruin in the third quarter.
- Junior DB Stephan Blaylock and sophomore OL Sean Rhyan have started in each of the last 14 games. 

Team Notes
- UCLA improved to 56-34-1 all-time against California and is now 6-2 in its last eight versus the Golden Bears. The Bruins have won five of the last six meetings at the Rose Bowl.
- The 24-point margin of victory was the highest for the Bruins since a 30-point win over Cal on Oct. 13, 2018.
- Before today in the second half, that 2018 win over Cal was also the last time the Bruins shutout an opponent in one half of football, doing so in the first half. 
- The last time the Bruins did not allow a point after halftime was Oct. 21, 2017 in a win over Oregon.
- UCLA is now 6-1 when leading at the half during the Chip Kelly era.
- The Bruins have won their last two Sunday games. The most recent one was a 45-44, comeback win over Texas A&M on Sept. 3, 2017 at the Rose Bowl.
- UCLA’s home-opening win was its first since that 2017 victory over Texas A&M.
- The Bruins out-gained the Golden Bears by 264 yards (440-176). It was the largest margin of total offense/total defense difference since Nov. 7, 2015 when UCLA shutout Oregon State and out-gained the Beavers 674-246 (428-yard difference).
- UCLA has held an opponent under 200 yards of total offense just three times since 2009 (198 - Oct. 17, 2019 - vs. Stanford; 181 - Nov. 14, 2019 - vs. Washington State).
- The 54 yards rushing allowed are the fewest given up by a Bruin team since last year’s win against Stanford (Oct. 17) when they allowed 55.
- The 122 yards passing allowed are the fewest given up by a Bruin team since Sept. 1, 2018 against Cincinnati (110).
- The UCLA defense has 17 tackles for loss in the first two games this season.
- The five sacks and the nine tackles for loss were the most in one game since last year against Stanford (seven sacks, 11 TFLs).
- The Bruins have scored 30+ points in seven of their last nine games.
- The Bruins improved to 11-9 at the Rose Bowl over the last 20 games.
- California’s punt block at the end of UCLA’s first offensive drive was the first time the Bruins had a punt blocked since Nov. 11, 2017 against Arizona State.
