Player Notes
– With 303 yards passing, junior quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson recorded his third career 300-yard passing game.
– Thompson-Robinson accounted for five touchdowns (four passing, one rushing). His four touchdown passes moved him into 10th on UCLA’s career TD list with 32.
– Thompson-Robinson moved up to 11th on UCLA’s career passing yards list 4,315, passing both Gary Beban and Kevin Prince today. He is just 51 yards shy of the Top 10.
– With 20 completions today, Thompson-Robinson moved up to 10th on the school career completions list with 348.
– Thompson-Robinson recorded 412 yards of total offense (303 passing, 109 rushing), moving up to 11th on UCLA’s career total offense list with 4,690.
– Thompson-Robinson’s 65-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was a career long rush.
– Demetric Felton’s 28-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter was his sixth career receiving touchdown and the eighth touchdown of his career.
– Felton added a 15-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, giving him his first game with both a rushing and receiving touchdown.
– Greg Dulcich’s 52-yard touchdown reception was a career-long reception and his second career touchdown.
– Freshman Keegan Jones scored on a 26-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter on his first touch as a Bruin.
– Sophomore tight end Mike Martinez recorded his first career touchdown in the fourth quarter.
– Jay Shaw’s third-quarter blocked punt was UCLA’s first since DeChaun Holiday recorded one on Nov. 12, 2016 vs. Oregon State.
– Quentin Lake’s fourth-quarter blocked field goal was the first by a Bruin since Adarius Pickett’s against Texas A&M on Sept. 3, 2017.
– DL Osa Odighizuwa has started the last 21 games, and DB Stephan Blaylock and OL Sean Rhyan have started in each of the last 13 games.
– Jaylen Erwin and Demetric Felton extended their team-best streaks to 13 games with at least one reception.
– Seven players, including one true freshman and three linebackers, made their first career starts as Bruins - LG Paul Grattan, C Sam Marrazzo, OLB Damian Sellers (true freshman), ILB Caleb Johnson, OLB Mitchell Agude, Nickel Qwuantrezz Knight, DB Obi Eboh.
 
Team Notes
– UCLA is now 65-32-5 in season-opening games.
– UCLA is 11-5 overall vs. Colorado and 4-4 in games played in Boulder.
– UCLA had four turnovers that led to 21 points and is now -22 in turnovers in losses under Coach Chip Kelly.
– The 187 yards rushed by Colorado’s Jarek Broussard were the most by a Bruin opponent since Utah’s Zack Moss rushed for 211 yards on Oct. 26, 2018.
