Born in Irvine, Calif., to Angela and Jaime Jaquez โฆ both parents played basketball at Concordia University โฆ older brother, Jaime, was an All-American basketball player for UCLA and currently plays in the NBA for the Miami Heat โฆ has a younger brother, Marcos โฆ chose to become a Bruin because โI wanted to attend UCLA since I was a kid. I really wanted to go to a school where I could get the best education. I knew I wanted to be close to home so that my family could come watch my games tooโ โฆ lists Kobe Bryant as the famous athlete she most admires โฆ wants to play in the WNBA after her college career is complete โฆ undeclared major.
