Career
Played in 125 collegiate games – 90 at Rutgers University (New Jersey) and 35 at UCLA … averaged 5.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 125 collegiate contests … totaled at least 10 rebounds in 33 career games … through four college seasons (2018-19 through 2021-22), played in all of his team’s 125 games … earned his undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering from Rutgers in May 2021 … was a two-time Big Ten Conference All-Academic selection (2018-19, 2019-20) … also was a three-time Big Ten All-Academic honoree (winter of 2019, 2020 and 2021) … transferred to UCLA in the summer of 2021 … enrolled in UCLA’s graduate school of engineering.

Was a four-year varsity basketball letterwinner at Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, Calif.) under head coach Shelton Diggs … was honored as a first-team “Dream Team” selection by the Long Beach Press Telegram as a senior (2016-17) … helped lead Long Beach Poly to a 22-9 record during his senior season … totaled eight points, 10 rebounds and seven blocked shots against nationally-ranked Chino Hills High School in the CIF Southern Section playoffs … also had 13 points and 15 rebounds against Orange Lutheran in the Nike Extravaganza … sustained a patella injury in practice and did not compete during his junior season … was a four-time Long Beach Poly student-athlete award winner and a member of the National Honor Society … maintained a grade point average above 4.0 throughout his high school career, due to performance in AP classes (advanced placement) … competed on the AAU circuit for the Los Angeles Rockfish under director Dave Benezra and coach Glenn Marx.
