Opened the season sitting two seat in the 3V4+ against USC, downing the Trojans in the head-to-head regatta… Helped the 2V4+ crew to a third-place finish in the grand finals of the San Diego Crew Classic at the end of March… Took over four seat in the 4V8+ against USD, finishing first with that crew on April 6… Sat bow at the Big Ten Invitational, helping the 3V4+ crew to two second-place finishes and a first-place result in late April… Sat stroke for the 3V4+ at the UCSD Triton Invitational, placing first with that crew… Finished the season in three seat of the 3V4+ at the Big Ten Championship; finished third in the petite final at the conference championship regatta… Honors: Big Ten Spring Academic Honor Roll
2023-24
Rowed in the Bruins’ Third Varsity Eight (3V8+), Second Varsity Four (2V4+), and Varsity Four (V4+) crews during her sophomore campaign… rowed two seat with the 3V8+ crew in the first regatta of the season against USC and Loyola Marymount (March 23) as the Bruins finished second… rowed two seat with the 2V4+ crew at the Lake Natoma Invitational (April 6) and pushed the Bruins to a first-place finish in both their races… rowed bow seat with the 2V4+ crew at the Big Ten Invitational (April 19-20) in Sarasota, Florida… rowed two seat with the V4+ crew, helping her team finish in second place over Gonzaga, USC, Oklahoma, and LMU… rowed two seat with the V4+ crew at the season-ending Pac-12 Championships in Sacramento, California.
Rowed primarily in UCLA’s novice eight crew (N8+) crew during her freshman season … rowed bow seat in the Bruins’ N8+ boat at the two-day San Diego Crew Classic at Mission Bay (April 1-2) … helped UCLA’s N8+ crew to third-place finishes on back-to-back days at the San Diego Crew Classic … rowed six seat in the N8+ crew in the Bruins’ dual-meet competition against Loyola Marymount in Marina del Rey (April 22) … rowed two seat in the Bruins’ second varsity eight crew (2V8+) at the Dexter Lake Invitational in Oregon (April 29) … helped guide UCLA’s 2V8+ boat to a second-place finish in the morning session and to a third-place finish in the afternoon … rowed six seat in the N8+ crew at the season-culminating Pac-12 Championships on Dexter Lake in Lowell, Ore. Was a one-year varsity volleyball letterwinner at Campolindo High School … spent her sophomore season on the varsity volleyball team, helping her program to the CIF NorCal Division I Championship (placed second at the Division I state championships) … rowed for the Oakland Strokes … as a senior, during the 2021-22 academic year, raced at Southwest Regionals in the JV8+ crew and the 4+ B crew … raced to a fourth-place finish at the Southwest Regionals (to earn a bid to the Youth Nationals) … finished 11th in the nation at the 2022 USRowing Youth National Championships in Sarasota, Fla.
