Saunders was a four-year letterwinnerย for the Oilers in water polo and earned two varsity letters in swimmingย โฆ he recorded 277 saves in the cage for Huntington Beach High School in 2016 and 235 in 2015ย โฆ he was twice named first team All-CIF and first team All-Sunset League as the Oilers finished second last year at the CIF-SS Championships and third in 2014ย โฆ he played his club ball for Vanguard Aquatics where he was named a five-time Junior Olympic All-American, winning gold, silver and bronze at the Junior Olympics during his prep careerย โฆย was also a member of the USA Men's Youth National Team (2012-16).

It is both an athletic and academic school, and the area it is located in doesn't hurt either" โฆ majoring in business/economics.
