One of four Bruins to start in all 17 games โ€ฆ Earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors Mar. 8 โ€ฆ Received Pac-12 academic honors for the fourth time in her career โ€ฆ Contributed to seven shutouts โ€ฆ Scored her first collegiate goal in the season opener at Pepperdine โ€ฆ All three of her assists were on game-winners to Reilyn Turner, against San Diego, at Utah and against Iowa.

2019
Selected to the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll โ€ฆ Received UCLAโ€™s Athletic Directorโ€™s Academic Excellence Award for making the honor roll every quarter at UCLA โ€ฆ Redshirted the season due to injury.

2018
Earned honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic honors for the second-straight year โ€ฆ Played in nine games total with four starts โ€ฆ Started three of the seasonโ€™s first four games before being sidelined with injury โ€ฆ Returned for the final five games of the regular season but injured her knee just before the start of postseason.

2017
Played in 12 games and earned starts at Weber State and against Oregon State โ€ฆ Assisted on the game-winning goal against San Diego State in the NCAA first round โ€ฆ Played in a season-high 68 minutes vs. Oregon State โ€ฆ Had two shots on goal against USC.

2016
Played in 17 games and earned six starts, including starts in the last four games โ€ฆ Helped UCLA record three shutouts in its last four games โ€ฆ Assisted on the game-tying goal with less than two minutes to play in regulation in the NCAA 3rd Round game at West Virginia โ€ฆ Played the full 90 against Washington State and a career-high 92 minutes at West Virginia. ย

Member of the U.S. Youth National Team program from 2012-16 โ€ฆ Most recently represented the U.S. U-19 team in New Zealand in June 2016.

Full name is Jacey Pederson โ€ฆ Born in Palo Alto, Calif. โ€ฆ Greatest athletic thrill was representing the U.S. at national training camps โ€ฆ Hobbies include cooking/baking, listening to music, hiking, and yoga โ€ฆ Parents are Shelly and Stu Pederson โ€ฆ Stu played 14 years of professional baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays โ€ฆ Has three brothers, Champ, Tyger, and Joc โ€ฆ Joc was an All-Star center fielder and World Series Champion with the Los Angeles Dodgers and now plays for the Chicago Cubs, Tyger played within the Dodgers organization from 2013-14, and Champ was enshrined into the Little League Hall of Excellence in 2017 โ€ฆ Admires Stephen Curry โ€ฆ Majoring in sociology.
