Spaulding was a member of the U.S. Women's National Team for the first time in the summer of 2016 and then earned her second WNT nod for the 2017 season in January ... notchedย a gold medal at last July's WBSC Women's World Championship, posting a pair of home runs and nine runs batted in, withย a grand slam against Austria and a solo shot versus Brazil ... also picked up a silver medal last July at the World Cup of Softball, recording nine hits in 17 at-bats (.529), homering in each of her first three games and totaling nine RBI.

Spaulding played four years of softball at Etiwanda High School in Etiwanda, Calif. ... was the Baseline League Most Valuable Player, All-State Second Team and All-CIF Southern Section First Team as a senior ... hit .511 as a senior with 10 home runs, 36 runs batted in, seven doubles and 45 runs scored ... earned First Team All-League honors every season and All-Inland Valley First Team and All-State each of her last three campaigns ... hit .490 as a junior with 13 homers, 49 RBI, eight doubles and 33 runs ... was a two-time varsity captain (2012, 2013) ... among the team awards earned were Team MVP and Outstanding Senior (2013), Best Offensive Player (2011-13) and Rookie of the Year (2010) ... coached by David Masucci ... played club with Mizuno 18U-Mike Stith.

Amber played softball at Oklahoma and Danielle was a three-time All-American softball player at North Carolina ... chose to attend UCLA because of the great academics and athletics ... favorites include the television shows โRevengeโ and โHow to Get Away With Murderโ and the movies โThe Notebookโ and โBad Momsโ ... thing she likes the most about softball is the thrill the sport gives you and the long lasting friendships it creates ... biggest athletic thrill so far was signing her National Letter of Intent to UCLA ... hobbies include sleeping, eating and hanging with friends and family ... majoring in political science.
