2022
Shaw made eight starts and 25 total appearances … posted a 6-2 record with a team-leading 1.47 earned run average across 57.0 innings pitched … joined forces with Megan Faraimo to toss the third combined perfect game in program history with her 2.0 innings against Pennsylvania (March 10) … threw 5.0 innings of one-hit, shutout ball against Iowa State (Feb. 25) … went 4.0 shutout innings, allowing only two hits and striking out a season-high seven batters in her victory over Fresno State (March 12) … allowed just one earned run in 6.1 innings against No. 12 Oregon for the win in her longest outing of the season (April 11) … had 11 scoreless relief appearances.
Iowa (2018-21)
Shaw compiled a 21-18 record with a 2.19 ERA in 255.1 total innings pitched over 56 appearances and 38 starts in her Hawkeye career ... put together back-to-back nine-win campaigns in 2020 and 2021 … had a 9-4 record and two saves in 2021 as a senior, including six complete games and 58 strikeouts … ranked sixth in the Big Ten with a 2.03 ERA that season … ranked 21st in the nation and first in the Big Ten in walks allowed per seven innings (1.09) … tied for second in the Big Ten with nine wins in 10 starts as a junior in 2020 before the COVID-19 shutdown … ranked fourth in the Big Ten with a 1.71 ERA that season … sent a career-high 10 batters down on strikes in a complete-game shutout against Georgia Tech (Feb. 16, 2020), earning her Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honors … threw four complete games her freshman season in 2018.
Keystone High School
Shaw amassed a 53-13 overall record with 29 career shutouts and three no-hitters at Keystone High School … tossed four perfect games and totaled 467 strikeouts and a 1.01 career ERA … as a junior in 2016, she had a 23-3 record, including 202 strikeouts, 13 shutouts and three perfect games to help guide the team to a first-place Patriot Athletic Conference and a state runner-up finish … led the team to a 20-6 record, a second consecutive conference title and a state final four appearance to earn all-state, all-region, all-county, all-district and all-conference selections as a sophomore in 2015 … played travel ball for 10 years, last with the Ohio Lasers’ Blue, leading the team to a second-place finish in the ASA Class A nationals in Bloomington, Ind.
