Was also runner-up at the Spokane Showcase with a clearance of 5.13m (16-10) ... Finished 11th in the pole vault at the Indoor Big Ten Championships with a height of 5.15m (16-10.75) ... Was runner-up at the outdoor Beach Opener with a clearance of 5.28m (17-3.75).

Competed in the pole vault event at five indoor meets โ€ฆ Made his season debut with a second-place finish at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Invitational โ€ฆ Recorded his season-best mark at the Don Kirby Invitational โ€ฆ His clearance of 5.42m (17-09.25) landed him seventh all-time on UCLAโ€™s indoor top 10 list โ€ฆ Placed first at the USC Dual Meet, his first of three outdoor appearances โ€ฆ Finished fourth in the Conference at the Pac-12 Championships, clearing 5.19m in Colorado โ€ฆ Cleared 5.22m at the NCAA West Prelims in Arkansas to place 25th in the west.
