Appeared in eight outdoor meets for the Bruins in the 200m, 400m, and 4x400m โฆ Competed in the NCAA West Regional Prelims in the 400m, finishing 19th overall with a lifetime-best time of 46.51 โฆ Finished seventh in the 200m (21.32w) and fifth in the 400m (46.92) at the Pac-12 Championships โฆ Also ran the second leg for the 4x400m squad that finished fourth at the conference meet with a season-best time of 3:09.39 โฆ Set a lifetime best in the 200m at the Jim Bush Collegiate with a time of 21.10, good for sixth place โฆ Made his outdoor debut at the Long Beach Dual, where he won the 200m competition with a wind-aided time of 21.42 and helped the 4x400m team to a victory and a time of 3:12.28 โฆ Competed in three indoor meets for the Bruins โฆ Finished 12th in the 200m at the MPSF Championships with a time of 21.97 and was the anchor of the 4x400m relay squad that finished fifth overall with a time of 3:12.50.

Prepped at Rancho Mirage High School in Rancho Mirage, Calif. โฆ Made a seamless transition from the hardwood to the oval as he placed second at the 2016 CIF California State Championships in the 400m with a personal best time of 46.93, in just his second season in the sport โฆ He cruised to a De Anza League title at 49.81 and then went on to run a 48.45 to place third at the CIF-SS Division III finals before finishing third in the CIF-SS Masters Meet with a time of 47.60 โฆ Has also run a wind-aided 21.54 and a legal 21.66 in the 200m โฆ Also won the De Anza League in the 200m with a time of 21.91 โฆ Holds six school records โฆ Broke the Coachella Valley 400m record that stood since 1910 โฆ All-De Anza League selection in 2015-16 โฆ Named the 2016 Outstanding Runner โฆ Team MVP and team captain.
