Rowed at five of the Bruinsโ spring races during her freshman campaign โฆ rowed two seat in the Bruinsโ second varsity four crew (2V4+) in the season-opening dual-meet competition against USC (March 11) โฆ helped UCLAโs 2V4+ crew to a first-place finish over USC at the Port of Los Angeles โฆ rowed five seat in the Bruinsโ novice eight crew (N8+) at the two-day San Diego Crew Classic in Mission Bay (April 1-2) โฆ UCLAโs novice eight crew raced to a third-place finish, out of five boats, on back-to-back days at Mission Bay โฆ stroked the Bruinsโ varsity four crew (V4+) in a dual-meet regatta against Loyola Marymount in Marina del Rey (April 22) โฆ UCLAโs V4+ crew defeated LMU in a sweep of three total races โฆ stroked the V4+ crew at the Dexter Lake Invitational in Lowell, Ore. Was a four-year varsity swimming letterwinner at Whitney Young Magnet High School in Chicago โฆ competed in the 100 breaststroke, 500 freestyle and 200 medley relay โฆ led her high school swimming and diving program to the Chicago Public Schools Girls City Championship as a freshman (2018) โฆ set the high school record in the 200 medley relay (breaststroke) and the 100 breaststroke โฆ finished in first place in the 100 breaststroke at the IHSA Girls Sectional Championship โฆ became the first IHSA Girls State Championship qualifier from her high school in 12 years.
