Began her season in bow pair of the 1V8+… Helped the crew reach grand finals at the San Diego Crew Classic, placing seventh in the field… Moved into four seat during the USD Dual; the Bruins placed first in a sweep of the Toreros on April 6… Raced from six seat at the Big Ten Invitational… Helped the 2V8+ to second- and third-place finishes in the first and second rounds of racing… In the third and final round, the Bruins moved Brunel and the 2V8+ into the 1V8+ lineup… The Bruins finished second (6:41.048) to wrap the weekend in Florida… Followed a successful trip to Sarasota, Brunel found herself in six seat of the 1V8+ again at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational… The Bruins outpaced the Tritons for a first-place finish in San Diego… Finished the season in the first varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships… UCLA’s 1V8+ placed fifth in the petite finals to close the 2024-25 campaign.

Attended Collège Saint Joseph La Salle (one year), Lycée Pierre de Fermat (two years) and Lycée Bellevue (one year)... Participated on the U19 French National Team from 2023 to 2024… Is a six-time French Champion (u17,19) in the 2-, 4+ and 8+… Is a two-time finalist of the U19 World Championships in 4-, with a fourth place finish in 2024 and a sixth place finish in 2023… Earned second at the 2023 U19 European Rowing Championships… Rowed for Aviron Toulousain.

Born in Toulouse, France… Is the daughter of Marianne Hind Dehbi-Brunel and Jean-Michel Brunel… Has an older sister, Ines-Louise… Decided to attend UCLA “to benefit from the academic excellence it offers”... Reveres Kenyan long-distance runner, Eliud Kipchoge as the famous athlete she most admires… Favorite hobbies include painting, drawing, traveling, photography and cooking… Is left-handed… Plans to become a political advisor or consultant after graduation… Public Affairs major.
