Joseph Geletko joined the UCLA athletic performance staff in the Summer of 2014. He is responsible for the implementation of athletic performance programs for the UCLA men's and womenโ€™s soccer, track and field, and beach volleyball squads. A native of Twentynine Palms, Geletko was a three-year starter at goalkeeper for the Azusa Pacific University soccer team. He graduated from Azusa Pacific University in December 2012 with a Bachelorโ€™s of Science in Applied Exercise Science. After graduation he remained at Azusa Pacific University, this time as a strength and conditioning coach for the menโ€™s and womenโ€™s soccer programs. From June to December 2013, he interned with the UCLA athletic performance department under Mike Linn. Shortly after, he was hired as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Pepperdine University and worked with the track, cross country, and swim/dive squads. In June of 2014, he was re-hired at UCLA Athletic Performance as an assistant athletic performance coach. Coach Geletko is an NSCA certified strength and conditioning coach and USAW Level 1 Coach. He is also responsible for performance metrics and GPS tracking for the UCLA womenโ€™s soccer team.
