Opened the season in stern pair of the 1V8+, sitting seven seat against rival USC… Helped the Bruins to a grand final appearance at the San Diego Crew Classic, where the crew finished seventh in the field… Took over three seat for the USD Dual; the Bruins finished first against the Toreros on April 6… Started the Big Ten Invitational in UCLA’s 2V8+ stern pair before jumping into bow seat of the 1V8+ crew for the second race… Moved into seven seat for the third and final race, helping lead the Bruins to a second-place finish… Remained in stern pair for the UCSD Triton Invitational and helped UCLA claim first in the 1V8+ race… Finished the year in seven seat with the 1V8+ crew at the Big Ten Championships in May; the Bruins finished fifth in the petite final of the conference regatta.
